How do I get matched with the right therapist?
When you contact us you will speak with our Clinical Director, Joe O’Callaghan. Joe will do an in-depth assessment of your needs and recommend a therapist based on their training, experience, expertise and availability.
How long does therapy usually last?
The duration of therapy is unique to each person’s process. Some people can find resolution within a few sessions, while others require longer. It is important to talk with your therapist about your goals for therapy and with them develop a treatment plan and timing that makes sense for your life.
How do I know if therapy is working?
You will know therapy is working if you find yourself responding differently to challenging situations. If you feel better overall and if your relationships improve it is a sign your work in therapy is paying off.
How do you incorporate spirituality or faith into therapy if that’s important to me?
As part of our intake process, your therapist will get to know your faith / spiritual background and beliefs if that is something you wish to be part of your work together. Our therapists are comfortable discussing faith and the role it plays in our client’s lives, as well as creating treatment plans that account for a clients beliefs and values.
