George Faller

Director of Training

George Faller is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both New York and Connecticut. Prior to a career in the field of mental health, George spent 20 years as a NYC Firefighter and NYC Police Officer, serving during 9/11. His unique background and dynamic teaching style make him a highly sought-after speaker around the world.

George received his M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Iona College, where he graduated at the top of his class. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Queens College. George is a certified EFT Trainer, Supervisor, and Therapist by the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and a Supervisor through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). He is the founder of the New York Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy, teaches classes at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in Manhattan, and sits on the Board of the Tulane School of Social Work.

George has published three books, True Connection, Sacred Stress, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, is the host of the popular podcast, “Foreplay Radio,” and oversees the therapist training platform www.SuccessInVulnerability.com.
