Nancy Sadock
Nancy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AAMFT Supervisor who specializes in couples therapy, parenting challenges, life transitions, and grief. Her approach is grounded in compassionate exploration of the issues that bring clients into treatment, with attention to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She draws on each person’s internal strengths and resources to help clients develop healthier relationships and a more fulfilling life. As a person of faith, Nancy also supports clients on their own spiritual journeys, when desired.
Nancy holds an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, a degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.S. in Physical Therapy from New York University. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and is a Certified Grief Counselor. For ten years, Nancy served as the Mom Mentor and primary speaker for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), an international parenting organization with a local chapter in Greenwich. Her talks centered on marriage, parenting, and family life, with a focus on healthy relational dynamics, setting boundaries, and preparing children to launch from home. Her eight years of experience in a psychiatric clinic also inform her work with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other psychiatric diagnoses.
In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband, four grown children, and grandchildren.
Living presents many challenges. I believe those who live most fully—despite life’s difficulties—are the ones who cultivate strong relationships with themselves and others. My goal is to help you strengthen those relationships so you can move forward and live your best life.
